ISKE 2025 Special Session on Advances in Spatio-temporal Data Mining: Methods and Applications
The 2025 International Conference on Intelligent Systems and Knowledge Engineering (ISKE 2025) is the 20th in a series of ISKE conferences. The conference will be held in Shunde, a beautiful place in southeast of China.
The conference proceedings will be published by IEEE Press (sent to be EI indexed). Special issues of SCI indexed journals will be devoted to a strict refereed selection of extended papers presented at ISKE 2025.
Scope and Motivation
This session aims to bring together researchers and practitioners working on the development and application of AI techniques for modeling, analyzing, and understanding spatio-temporal data. With the growing volume and complexity of data collected over time and space, there is an urgent need for robust, scalable, and intelligent methods capable of handling dynamic, structured, and high-dimensional inputs.
Topics of Interest
We welcome high-quality original contributions that address theoretical, methodological, and applied aspects of spatio-temporal data mining, including (but not limited to):
- Spatio-temporal data mining and representation learning
- Time series forecasting and uncertainty quantification
- Stream learning and online learning in dynamic environments
- Recommender systems with temporal and contextual awareness
- Graph machine learning for spatial and relational data
- Generative AI for spatio-temporal pattern synthesis
- Real-world applications in mobility, climate, healthcare, social media, and more
